The Food Courts in FC Utrecht's stadium have been given quite the makeover. With its new RGB lighting, caterer Number 1 can now light up the Food Courts in any color it wants. Guus van der Eerden, co-owner of Letex Lighting, explains.

“Number 1 operates food courts for various football clubs, as well as catering festivals and events. They decided the lighting system at the Food & Drink Courts in FC Utrecht’s Galgenwaard stadium were due an upgrade. Imagine the impact of fully orange mood lighting when the national team has a home game! We’ve been working with Number 1 for years, so we were the obvious choice for the lighting system.”

“It wasn’t a complex project, but there were a lot of custom components. All the Food Courts have different dimensions, after all. We used RGB LED strips and track lighting, which we concealed to create a system that’s as easy on the eye as it is easy to use. The staff can change the lighting in each Food Court using a user-friendly control panel.”

“Number 1 was delighted with the project. We’ve now done the hospitality boxes in Utrecht, too, and they’ve also put in an order for another football stadium.
